OUR STORY
Hello! I’m Chelsea Dahl, founder of our family business, Bows + Arrows Junior Socials. The idea for Bows + Arrows came forward while rocking our firstborn to sleep, in the dark, somewhere in the wee hours of the morning. Really, some of the best ideas come in the middle of the night.
After a decade in the wedding industry, I began the “Mama Chapters” of my life and found myself searching for a way to fit that talent for event design with all the wonderful adventures (and interruptions) of stay-at-home-motherhood. My husband and I have been blessed with three gorgeous, smart, and funny children. Becoming parents has been our greatest joy and proudest accomplishment, so in relaunching (and refocusing) our business, it was vital that it included space for our children.
Our kids are center to this story and part of our business. You’ll hear them in the background of phone calls or video meetings. Our little helpers may be onsite for planning meetings, party setups, or marketing events. This is real life – it’s messy and wonderful and is what inspired Bows + Arrows. Real parents helping real parents create magic for their children.

OUR VISION
Our vision for Bows + Arrows is to make memorable events accessible to every child and every family – this means affordability. Jesus calls us to use our gifts to serve God’s kingdom. We’ve found such joy in creating memorable occasions for our own kids – birthday parties, holidays, just-because gatherings – and feel undeniably called to share these talents, especially in our local community.
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace,” (1 Peter 4: 10).
OUR WHY
Making those impossibly imaginative kids’ ideas come to life in a truly accessible way; that is our why. Showing our children that hard work and creativity can open doors not only for themselves, but also for people around them; that is our why. Making time for “Mom Life” (and Dad life!) so every parent can do what they need to and what they want to for their children’s special occasions; that is our why.
So, whether you are planning a milestone birthday, a themed event, a graduation celebration, a holiday party, a welcome home for a new baby, even a baby shower – we can’t wait to work with you!
